CFSD
Foundation History: an Overview
CFSD
Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 1983.
The Foundation pre-dated all the FFOs, and existence of
the high school. Until 1998, the Foundation funded teacher-initiated
projects in classrooms, e.g. library books, math materials,
telescopes, drama and fine arts equipment and much more.
From 1998 to date, the FFOs have concentrated on school-based
needs and the Foundation has chosen to support teaching
positions, which are decided on a district-wide basis.
