Educational Excellence Endowment:
Unrestricted gifts made to the Educational Excellence Endowment Fund provide stable funding support for district programs in perpetuity. Donations directed to this general endowment fund will enable the Foundation to enhance the level of annual funding for programs benefiting the students of the Catalina Foothills School District. These funds create teaching positions to maintain small class sizes and support the depth and breadth of course offerings to maintain the excellence in education our school district offers. Donations earmarked for this endowment fund are invested with the original principal left untouched and investment earnings available for enrichment. As of June 30, 2011, this fund had approximately $77,000 in principal.

Annual Fund Endowment:
The Annual Fund Endowment is a board designated fund to support the hiring of teachers for all of the Catalina Foothills School District schools. Established in July 2011, the Annual Fund Endowment will be augmented by allocating 10% of every Annual Fund Contribution to this fund to create a long-term, self-sustaining annuity for supporting the hiring of teachers. This Endowment is intended to grow overtime through capital growth, unspent income added to principal or additional contributions from outside sources.

The Endowment for Literacy and the Fine Arts :
Built upon an original matching donation by the Stocker Foundation, the Endowment for Literacy and the Fine Arts provides a permanent source of funding for such programs. We know that exposure to a strong curriculum in Literacy and the Fine Arts develops attitudes, characteristics, and intellectual skills our students need to participate in today’s society. The Foundation will direct earnings from this endowment towards the preservation and enhancement of programs in music, dance, drama, literacy, and visual arts. Donations earmarked for this endowment fund are invested with the original principal left untouched and investment earnings available for enrichment. As of June 30, 2011, this fund had approximately $108,000 in principal.
